Whoer.net is the quickest look at the network half of a visit: the IP a site sees, where it is registered, which DNS server resolved the lookup, and whether a proxy or VPN is detectable from the connection alone. It ends with an anonymity percentage.
What it checks
- IP address, country, city and provider
- DNS servers that answered, and their country
- Proxy, VPN and Tor indicators on the connection
- Browser time, language, and the system time offset
How to read the result
The percentage is a summary of the rows above it and moves with small things — an enabled plugin once cost points. Read the rows, not the score.
What it does not prove
Whoer judges the connection, not the browser. A residential proxy can show 100% while the browser behind it still answers every fingerprint question the way a virtual machine would.
